Townsquare Media Yakima is looking for an Operations Manager that has actively developed market leading radio stations & brands. This person, shows by example, the importance of the relationship between their staff and the local community. They are extremely creative in the development of unique content, promotions, and multi-media strategies.
This person can positively balance their vision and strategy for radio stations, with the needs of the business. They know how to help talented people extend their brands in a marketplace and they understand the significance of that in relation to station performance. This person breaths personality, walks the Selector walk, understands the right music and texture for each station’s target, considers digital platforms the key to the future, and is not afraid to leverage it to the stations advantage. This candidate has the experience, poise, and versatility to earn the respect of their people. He or she must have the ability and patience to train and develop a quality air staff and get the most out of their talents.
This person must also be relentless in creating an environment of constant creation & implementation of duel purpose ideas that grow ratings and revenue. This person will have experience winning in a competitive landscape, they will have enthusiasm, high standards for themselves and those who work for them. They have creativity, heart, passion, and intelligence.
