Salesforce Project Manager
Position Summary

The Role
To support operations in the planning, implementation and successful closing of our Salesforce projects, as well as internal projects and daily management. This person will have a disciplined approach to managing business users, planning, organizing and scheduling resources, great attention to detail, and an understanding of the importance of process fulfillment.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee and take responsibility for the successful completion and timeliness of Salesforce projects within set budget
2. Create and maintain project plans inclusive of communication matrix, responsibility matrix, schedule and budget
3. Manage stakeholders working with multiple teams
4. Lead business and functional requirements definition and prioritization of requirements
5. Produce a detailed project plan to match customer requirements
6. Manage the project plan and report any risks to Management
7. Maintain project status and updates in a project management tool
8. Secure customer signoff for each delivery phase
9. Participate in the creation and review of all project documentation
10. Set and manage deadlines: assign responsibilities, monitor progress of projects, weekly client status reports, and calls
11. Manage expectations and maintain communication throughout the course of the project
12. Serve as the main driver of the client relationship and communication
13. Assist Executive Leadership in establishing project estimates and milestones which you will lead
14. Assist Executive Leadership in continuous improvement activities and operational analytic reporting
15. Prepare reports for management regarding the status of projects and address issues/concerns when appropriate
16. Work with business users to set up training plan and reviewing the training documentation in line the project documentation
17. Facilitate and drive process flow analysis and process redesign along with technical team
18. Participate and support in user acceptance testing efforts as needed including issue tracking and appropriately managing those issues against project scope and timeline
19. Lead internal project team meetings and meetings with the customer
20. Participate in internal projects as required
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing the project delivery of CRM implementations within a consulting environment, preferably Salesforce.com implementations
• Must have Sales and Service Cloud certifications
• Experience in professional services/consulting organization
• Experience in Waterfall and Agile approaches to project management
• Experience managing multiple projects at one time (including but not limited to: implementations, upgrades, and new installations)
• Strong time management skills as you’ll have multiple priorities to focus on in a week that often change based on client demands
• The ability to be self-directed and work in an ambiguous and dynamic environment
• Demonstration of good judgement; ability to know when to listen vs. ask questions
• Must maintain professional knowledge of Salesforce.com
• Innate service mentality and care for the client experience
• Demonstrated ability to proactively mitigate risk
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously
• Exceptional written and verbal communication
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States
