The HR Business Partner and Benefits Generalist Worldwide is responsible for the administration, support on design and implementation, employee support and communications of worldwide benefits. This position for acts as the HR representative that administers and implements HR programs, provide employee relations support and HR support on business strategy and M&A integrations across all j2 Global locations.
This position will be responsible for the maintenance and utilization of HR information systems (HRIS) to provide accurate and timely reporting and data management
Job Duties:
HRIS Data Management (U.S. and Global)
• Directly reviews and ensures compliance, data integrity and provide guidance and support to remote Benefits staff.
• Ensures Time and Attendance programs are properly set up and calculations and accruals are in the HRIS programs.
• Audit monthly record of employee information in payroll/HRIS systems.
• Draft and track Global and Domestic Commission Plans.
• Develop and facilitate system processes to ensure ADP is capturing job data globally for HR and payroll and benefits purposes.
Benefits, Pension and 401K management (U.S., Canada, EU, APAC)
• Leverage vendors, brokers, consultants, and internal resources to execute against the company’s benefits program.
• Manage and negotiate relationships with benefit brokers, plan providers, vendors, auditors, TPAs and/or consultants for services, pricing, and plan administration.
• Create fun and eye catching email marketing campaigns for the HR initiatives including wellness, open enrollment, and mandatory harassment training; catering communications to work effectively with international offices where there is no HR presence on site.
• Operate as the Plan Administrator for the 401k retirement plan, and participates in the 401(k) Investment Committee.
• Launch a new global wellness program; organize and manage plans, facilitating the wellness committee, and ensuring effective communication and local program alignment.
• Processing 5500 and other filings for each plan including Discrimination Testing.
Job Requirements and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resource Management / Business or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience focused on domestic and international benefits, HR systems and processes in a global company. Minimum of three years of experience working as a HR Generalist on compliance training, employee relations investigations and immigration concerns.
• Experience with HR metrics, information and data analysis, impact analysis, cost-benefit analysis, ROI, and globally integrated solutions.
• Exposure to international total rewards concepts (allowances, guaranteed compensation, 13 month salary periods, EU works councils, etc.)
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
