JOB SUMMARY
The Product Marketing Specialist supports the Director, Product Marketing with our owned and operated Spectrum News networks and Enterprise sales team. This role works with cross-functional partners to build actionable marketing solutions to support the sales organization.
This position will be heavily focused on developing sales collateral to highlight our unique position in the marketplace and aid our sales force with the tools and resources to be successful.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Spectrum News:
◦ Work with the Product Marketing Director on developing value propositions that separate Spectrum Reach News from our competitors
◦ Support with the development of the go-to-market strategy
◦ Lead the sales and marketing collateral creation to support existing & expansion markets in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Sales, Field Research, Field Marketing, Communications, Brand, Spectrum News, Training)
◦ Partner with internal creative services agency, Kernel, to oversee the production of customizable marketing and sales collateral including: capability presentations, programming one sheets, sales videos, sponsorship one sheets, leave behind, media kits, premiums
◦ Work with PM News Director in coordinating the development of external and internal communications
◦ Collaborates with Field Research to proactively uncover viewership trends, develop competitive positioning and promote those via sales collateral
• Enterprise Sales:
◦ Lead the creation of customizable sales collateral Tune-in category (ex. presentation templates, one sheets, audience viewership isights)
◦ Supports with the development of marketing and sales collateral to activate Affiliate Partnerships (ex. presentation templates, communications, affiliate portal, intranet page)
◦ Crafts sales collateral to support the Advanced Product Strategy team activate ad-related programming deals with Networks (ex. Addressable TV enablement, VOD DAI)

Education
Undergraduate degree – communications and marketing preferred
Related Work Experience
Minimum 3-5+ years of integrated advertising experience
Media / advertising industry experience: AdTech, Agency, Cable Distributor and/or Programmer
