Instagram is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to support our Small Business initiatives. This person will be responsible for creating our business strategy, managing our go-to-market plans and coordinating a cross-functional team to bring more small businesses to Instagram and help consumers better understand the value they get from these relationships. The ideal candidate will have a multi-disciplinary background—including business strategy, marketing and analytical skills —and be passionate about Instagram and small businesses. This is a full-time position based in our Menlo Park office.
Responsibilities
• Establish and scale our go-to-market strategy and activations for small and medium businesses on Instagram
• Collaborate with our marketing, events, PR, and sales teams to create product positioning and materials
• Lead market and competitive assessment, and be the trusted voice of small businesses by surfacing qualitative and quantitative insights to shape product direction and ensure product-market fit
• Partner with Facebook sales and marketing teams focused on small and medium businesses to ensure Instagram is thoughtfully integrated into broader company initiatives
• Catch unanticipated issues that arise along the way and see them through to resolution
Minimum Qualifications
• 5+ years of business strategy, product marketing or product management experience
• Experience with small and medium businesses and digital marketing
• Experience setting strategic direction and executing operational and go-to-market plans that require input and execution from multiple teams
• Experience with communication and influencing a cross-functional team
• BA/BS degree
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in a consulting, product strategy or equivalent function for an online advertising, media, or technology company
• MBA
• Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
