In order to realize this opportunity, Airbnb is looking to hire a talented and celebrated brand marketers. As the Brand & Strategy Director for luxury @ Airbnb this role will report to the Head of Marketing Luxury @ Airbnb and will be located in New York, NY.
Key Responsibilities
The Marketing Director, Brand & Strategy, will be responsible for creating and telling the story of Airbnb’s premium brand - Luxury Retreats. This person understands the priceless nature of experience and can translate that experience through a dynamic marketing strategy. We are looking for a master merchandiser who can leverage original content and creative execution to build awareness and drive sales of Airbnb’s premium offering.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Responsibility for all aspects of the marketing strategy and execution, including brand value proposition, PR and communications strategy, content creation, advertising, digital marketing, media planning and go-to-market.
• Managing a large multi-disciplinary team of marketers across research, brand and media.
• Blend online and offline strategies to create a holistic experience of the brand.
• Work closely with Customer Experience, Design and Product Management to evolve our product offering for our customers.
• Measure and drive demonstrable business results and ROI through brand building and marketing.
Qualifications
• 15+ years of global marketing experience with premium and/or technology brands with at least 8+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead an innovative and disruptive brand's end to end marketing needs including strategy, creative, production, analytics, customer service as marketing.
• Experience with both brand and performance marketing.
• Business savvy with a proven ability to create and execute full funnel marketing strategies.
• Track record of success in dramatically scaling a brand's relevance at global scale.
• Success working with technical product teams and digital marketing technologies.
• Ability to effectively lead and provide thought leadership and direction to a global, cross-functional team and manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
• A world class emotionally intelligent leader with a proven ability to grow, develop and scale a team.
