We’re looking for a Sales Trainer to join Team Snapchat! As a member of the Sales team, you will join a Sales Operations team that drives outsize impact in sales learning and enablement for Snap’s revenue organization and work closely with the Revenue and Product teams. Working from our New York, NY office, you’ll collaborate with the team to support the design and delivery of our sales onboarding, internal product training, sales skills, and sales manager development programs while working closely with a wide array of cross-functional partners to ensure Snap’s revenue teams are going to market with the best possible knowledge, resources, and tools.
What you'll do:
• Work with internal teams, such as Product Marketing, Business Marketing, Creative Strategy, Measurement, and Sales and Operations to conduct trainings on new products and sales positioning
• Design and facilitate skills workshops for sales and sales support teams
• Work with sales managers to conduct needs assessment and drive sales initiatives
• Travel occasionally to Americas and international markets to provide onsite training and coaching
• Provide 1:1 coaching for sales and cross-functional partners
• Assess and manage external training vendors
• Develop and prioritize new strategies, enablement initiatives, and programs
• Support the design and content production for Snap’s annual Global Sales Offsite
Minimum qualifications:
• 5+ years of digital media industry experience
Preferred qualifications:
• Previous sales experience or media agency experience
• 2+ years experience providing training for sales and/or media buying teams
• Experience providing 1:1 coaching a plus
• Experience with all aspects of training, including needs assessment, building lessons and job aides, selecting vendors, working with SMEs, and facilitation
• A strong track record of developing internal relationships with managers, partners, and SMEs
• Strong ability to adapt your training style to learners' needs
• Strong knowledge of the digital advertising industry
• You love helping people improve and perform
• You are comfortable delivering candid feedback in a professional manner
• You are able to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects
• You have the ability to see the big picture and to work with sales in a constructive way
