Job Summary:
For the Supply Chain Anayst/Sr. in our Supply Chain Analytics team, we are looking for a motivated and detail oriented individual with program management and data systems experience to help drive development and implementation of our Supply Chain Analytics program. Key responsibilities include but not limited to the coordination of cross-functional teams members to meet program schedule and deliverables, prepare and deliver standardized reporting to the broader organization at all levels on a weekly basis. Typical projects will mostly require working directly work with Planning, Procurement, Sourcing, Production to define relevant performance reporting, predictive analytics reporting on shortages (STBL), Inventory projections & reporting, Transportation costs and other expenses effected by the planning team. The role also enables the candidate to influence and innovate up from current supply chain planning processes, and make the case to adopt the latest planning practices.
Position Requirements
Essential Job Functions:
• Summarize and publish reports for measuring supply chain operational performance
• Establish a weekly or more frequent cadence to communicate the results in a scorecard format and drive results with the operational teams.
• Analyze and set system parameters to optimize inventory and meet service level goals and minimize costs.
• Assist with the maintenance of MRP master data for planning parts at various plants. Also responsible to initiate Engineering Change requests based on material life cycle.
• Run what-if simulations to optimize material/capacity constraints while minimizing impact to customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with internal partners such as commodity, platform planners and factory production teams to ensure sufficient capacity and materials to meet supply requirements.
• Communicate Short To Backlog (STBL) measurements and proactive shortage reporting
• Analyze shortage data to identify main issues and key areas for improvement
• Support Oracle project core team with migration and other projects
• Broad range of supply chain data analysis
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain management, Engineering or Finance. Masters Degree preferred.
Required Experience:
• 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Supply Chain management or Global Procurement
• Experience with ERP systems
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Undergraduate degree and 3+ years relevant experience
• Demonstrated skillset in SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, or comparable tools and languages – or demonstrated proficiency/eagerness in learning new tools.
• Extensive and in-depth knowledge of planning, data analysis and data modelling.
• Analytical skills to resolve ad-hoc issues and adjust to the dynamic requirements of our customer and supplier base.
• High level of proficiency is required in spreadsheet and database analysis tools, specifically MS Excel & PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Must be a team player, have the ability to be flexible, be able to develop in the role and develop relationships across the business.
• Very detail oriented, able to identify anomalies and errors in data, and to capture trends to apply to planning model.
• Strong ability to move between tactical and strategic aspects of business
• Knowledge of Oracle ASCP highly preferred
• High energy and a desire to work in a results-oriented, fast growth environment
• Intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving and comfort with ambiguity
• Able to assess a variety of information, draw similarities and compile actionable recommendations
• Strong interpersonal skills
