Job Description:
Assistant Strategist, OOH (Out of Home Media Planning)
Job Summary
Entry-level position where the candidate will assist team in various support functions across the Out-of-Home (OOH) buying process for assigned accounts. This is a dynamic opportunity to join a forward thinking agency.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
80% - Administrative
20% - Planning
• Maintain vendor contacts database to ensure information is up to date and accurate
• Develop relationships with OOH vendors as well as a perspective of markets they cover and formats they represent
• Coordinate vendor meetings
• Provide general administrative assistance when needed for assigned account(s)
• Compile weekly status report for assigned account(s)
• Input OOH media buys into SBMS (billing system)
• Resolve billing discrepancies and escalate if progress to solve discrepancy is being hindered
• Gather and distribute production material specs, based on plan parameters
• Distribute traffic instructions/posting instructions to vendors and ensure they are received by each vendor
• Follow up with vendor to ensure materials arrived on time for an on-time post
• Compile and distribute photobook / proof of performance (POP) reports for each campaign
• Maintain electronic files / appropriate documents for assigned account list in a timely and well organized manner
• Prepare and update market overviews as necessary, to be used as a department reference tool

Knowledge and Skills Required
• BA/BS degree required
• Previous related internships or experience in media planning/buying, advertising, marketing or out-of-home media preferred
• Previous experience working with Microsoft, Powerpoint, and especially Excel
• Must be detail oriented, accurate and have good organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving mentality, work ethic, and verbal and written communication skills
