Ziff Davis B2B is expanding its Sales team and is looking for a results oriented Account Executive for its Media business. We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Account Rep with experience selling marketing technology and/or services over the phone, by email, in person, and via web-based presentations. You will be responsible for managing a account list and proactively reaching to create sales pipeline and acquire new customers selling Omni Channel ABM solutions that include Programmatic Display, Social, Search, Content Syndication and High Quality Leads. The ideal candidate has a history of bringing in new business and exceeding sales quotas, and loves the challenges that come with outbound prospecting in a competitive market.
Responsibilities for Account Executive
• Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and sales quotas
• Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
• Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships
• Take charge of the product pitch and customizing it to client situations while also working with Marketing to incorporate feedback into the corporate deck
• Work with the Global Customer Success team as necessary to ensure upsell and cross sell based on client delight
• Using and updating CRM (Salesforce) effectively to foster communication and collaboration with wider team(s)
Qualifications for Account Executive
• Enthusiastic and self-driven. Goal oriented with minimal supervision.
• Proven experience as an Account Executive, or in other sales/customer service role with 2+ years of experience in Inside sales or Field Sales roles
• Demonstrated application of market research, social selling and negotiating tactics. Experience with the Challenger selling model a plus.
• Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus
