OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY
JOB DESCRIPTION
FX Networks is seeking a Senior Analyst of Digital Research & Analytics to provide clear, concise data analysis and insights regarding our digital audiences and our competitors’ digital audiences to FX executives.
Responsibilities:
• Report FX Networks’ digital audiences (original series and acquired movies and series) by producing, maintaining, and publishing weekly, monthly, and annual analyses along with supporting data sets, including the authoring of executive summaries.
• Assess, clean, process, and maintain data and databases that support budgeting, reporting, and analysis functions.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer executives’ questions.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a mathematically intensive discipline (e.g. statistics, business analytics, data science, mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics, or business) required. Information Systems a plus.
• At least two years’ experience as a digital analyst, building dashboards and reports from scratch for executives, and presenting and defending analyses to management. At least one year of experience managing databases, preferred.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
• Must have the ability to communicate complex and data-rich information to disparate audiences.
• Proficiency in algebra and statistics required.
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented .
• Must have analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be proficient in Excel (including lookups, arrays, pivot tables, conditional formulas, VBA/macros), SQL queries and database management, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
• Must demonstrate ability to learn new analytics software quickly and to build automated dashboards/reports from scratch in Excel.
• Skills in Adobe Analytics (Ad Hoc, Data Warehouse, Workspace, Site Catalyst, Report Builder, Test & Target), Adobe Audience Manager, Salesforce DMP, Tableau, Looker, Machine Learning, Python, R, Data Science, Nielsen’s TV ratings system and reporting tools, Rentrak, comScore, FreeWheel, a plus.
• Must have knowledge of digital video measurement.
