Director, SMB Field Sales, Englewood CO
JOB SUMMARY:
This West Division sales leadership role is responsible for informing and executing strategic initiatives designed to support the success of the Comcast Business West Division SMB Field Sales organization. As the Director of SMB Field Sales, this leader will proactively identify opportunities to improve sales performance and rep participation through improving process, and/or realizing sales process efficiencies. Directs the development and ongoing maintenance of standardized operational playbooks, guidelines and processes. Regularly interfaces with division and regional Comcast Business leadership to communicate strategies, execution plans, and manage expectations. As a member of the West Division sales leadership team, the Director of SMB Field Sales position is based in Englewood, CO, and reports to the Vice President of Sales and Sales Operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate the continued refinement and execution of the SMB Field Sales playbooks to maximize the effectiveness of the SMB Field Sales Channel. The role will also establish process for collecting feedback to enhance the playbooks by leveraging the expertise of the field and regional leadership
• Design and deploy new channel initiatives and process to drive incremental sales through the SMB Segment
• Coordinate with West Division Sales Effectiveness team members to initiate and sustain effective SMB Field Sales channel training and development programs
• Acts as liaison between National Field Sales/Division and Region Sales organizations to drive improved sales results across all lines of business
• Partners with Division and Regional Marketing and Sales Operations teams to develop programs and process that drive value with the sales channel
• Works cross functionally to gain commitment to new initiatives. Develops senior leadership as well as front line communication plans, leveraging Internal Communication teams for all initiatives and product launches
• Formulates execution approaches and oversees the implementation of initiatives with minimal disruption to BAE sales efforts
Core Responsibilities:
• Reviews marketing plans to ensure maximum sales volume is at minimum cost for all lines of business.
• Partners with Product Sales Team leaders and marketing management to identify key reports, functionality and system tasks to support the sales process and improve tracking, usage, and trend identification.
• Identifies marketing prospects to implement lead tracking initiatives.
• Oversees the daily activity reports and reporting trends.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
