A System Performance Analyst provides expertise on air interface technologies, guidance with network optimization, and support with system performance trending for the System Performance Department. This includes detecting and providing detailed analysis of uncommon problems through monitoring and tracking network service measurements, and ensuring system capacity meets call demand.
• Provide statistical analysis of system performance trends including call performance, resource utilization, and network capacity
• Trending – before/after new site performance, network degradation, IA/LC performance
• Analyze statistical data, Service Measurements and call logs to identify single points of failures such as mobiles, radios, antenna and other network components.
• Assist in analysis of Nielsen (Third party) competitive drive reports and Network Perception Surveys
• Support the System Performance Engineers as required in analyzing / troubleshooting performance problems
• Develop and track Team’s monthly System Performance Goals
• Coordinate the investigation of Executive/Internal Coverage complaints
• Executive requests
• Conduct ad hoc system performance requests
• Develop monthly system performance presentation
• Assist with drive test analysis
• Assist Field Operations personnel with access to system performance data.
• Improve/develop system performance reports along with System Support

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications related field or 3-5 years of equivalent experience is required.
• Strong written verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.
• Outstanding Analytical skills required
• Advanced Excel, Access including creating databases and manipulating data
• Unix, Oracle and Maplnfo experience desired
• Detail and results oriented
• Flexibility to deal with changing priorities in a positive manner
• Ability to function as part of a team.
• Travel required
*Proficiency in Python and/or R is strongly preferred
