JOB DESCRIPTION
Fox News is looking for a Marketing Manager to help implement customer acquisition programs for Fox News Digital and the new membership brand called Fox Nation. Fox Nation targets Fox News fans with premium content and experiences through digital, mobile and connected TV platforms.
We are looking for an experienced individual to define and execute the acquisition strategy, attracting the right prospects and scaling membership for a brand new digital product. You will be responsible for managing the acquisition marketing budget to acquire customers in the most cost efficient and effective manner. This role will be driving actionable insights against key segments to continue customer growth.
You will be required to develop and document acquisition plans, financial metrics and goals for senior management, and use data on prospect/customer behavior, usage and consumption to inform decision-making. Successful individuals will be skilled at collaborating with internal teams and working closely with Fox Nation leaders to develop new services and product offerings. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of paid as well as owned media channels and have experience with content marketing.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Email lead generation for prospects
• Both Paid & Earned Social Media including channels such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and SnapChat.
• Effective management of cost budget and targets for acquisition channels
• Affiliate & partnership marketing: responsible for managing platforms and partnerships, owning commercial fulfilment of agreements and performance.
• Display marketing & retargeting
• Content marketing, both organic and paid
• Landing pages and MV testing
• Web Acquisition Funnel
• Knowledge of Offline Acquisition Activity would be preferred, including Events, Broadcast Media, and any other opportunities that fit the brand goals.
• Aggregating and analyzing Acquisition campaign KPIs and translating analysis into action
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Hands on experience in several or all of the following channels;
◦ SEM
◦ SEO experience a plus
◦ Display: contextual, programmatic and retargeting
◦ Affiliate & Partnership Marketing
◦ Email Marketing
◦ Web funnel optimization and MV testing
◦ Traditional Acquisition channels
◦ eCommerce
• Knowledge of digital video landscape especially OTT services
• Knowledge of news and current events landscape
• Demonstrable expertise in reporting and analyzing acquisition campaigns, and managing to performance marketing KPIs.
• Google AdWords, both strategy and hands-on delivering.
• Facebook for Business, both strategy and hands-on delivering.
• Agency management where appropriate.
