Marketing Assistant, Penguin Publishing Group

The Penguin Publishing Group (PPG) at Penguin Random House is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support the Vice President, Marketing Strategy. This position will assist with the execution of marketing processes and campaigns, conduct various research and reporting, and help with brand marketing projects. The ideal candidate is a creative and analytical thinker that thrives in a fast-paced and creative work environment and is passionate about reading.
Specific responsibilities include:
1. Providing critical support for various marketing and promotional campaigns.
2. Updating, organizing, and maintaining information in internal marketing database systems.
3. Assisting the Vice President, Marketing Associate and the projects team with various ongoing work and priority projects.
4. Liaising with the Sales and Imprint Marketing departments on key titles, authors and/or categories.
5. Monitoring sales and metrics associated with marketing promotions.
6. Providing general administrative support including answering phones, scheduling, filing, handling mail, creating decks/reports, etc.
