Job Summary
Comcast is seeking an inspirational and high performing Vice President to lead the Field Sales team in Florida. The VP of Field Sales is responsible overseeing the sales and operations of Retail (CSC), Direct Sales, and Indirect Sales channels in the Florida region.
This role is pivotal in establishing the strategic insight, sales strategy, and core processes that ensure business growth in a fast changing and hyper competitive marketplace. Recognizes profitability and revenue potential in business opportunities. Leads initiatives, programs, and process improvements that enable and/or support a superior customer and employee experience and drive NPS and eNPS scores respectively. Serves as the liaison between field teams and Central division headquarters. Provides daily coaching and direction to a team of Market managers and Channel Directors.
Core Responsibilities
• Oversees Florida Region sales and profit goals for the Retail (CSC), Direct Sales, and Indirect Sales channels in the Florida region. Establishes tactics to consistently meet or exceed sales targets for a portfolio of products and services as well as operational and employee KPIs.
• Creates business strategy to focus on strengths, competitive advantage and differentiation. Incorporates broad knowledge to address complex, unusual and critical issues. Develops long-term plans that impact the achievement of business results. Recognizes profitability and revenue potential in business opportunities. Demonstrates leadership versatility.
• Oversees individual and team sales performance and provides specific performance improvement plans. Maintains and grows existing customer base while managing churn as effectively as possible.
• Drives strategic and operational initiatives to make the in-store sales, service and customer & employee experiences as easy as possible.
• Recruits and continuously develops a highly-engaged, winning team of Directors and Market Managers. Establish and employ a management oversight process to regularly assess both individual and group performance relative to overall goals and objectives.
• Communicates, trains, and educates Channel Directors and Retail Market Managers on corporate marketing plans, new products, and other corporate initiatives.
• Collaborates with Division sales partners to continuously improve sales, and customer processes

• Willingness and ability to travel, as required. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
Education Level
• Bachelors Degree
• MBA Preferred
Experience
• 15+ years of broad and deep retail operations experience, preferably in wireless, cable and/or telecommunications industries.
• Highly effective in a decentralized and complex organization demonstrating an inclusive and facilitative leadership style while balancing results and timelines.
