Temporary Marketing Coordinator- Industry & Infrastructure | New York, NY
Informa is seeking a Temporary Marketing Coordinator in our New York office. This role is an exciting opportunity to work within Informa’s Business Intelligence Division, responsible for coordinating marketing initiatives to drive event attendees and exhibits/sponsorships for the Manufacturing and Design Engineering Market.
We’re looking for a motivated self-starter that is creative, thinks outside the box and has a basic knowledge of marketing, communication, social and email marketing.
This position is temporary and part-time (25 hours per week) with the option for a flexible schedule (Monday – Friday between 9am – 5pm).
Responsibilities
• Assist in executing email marketing campaigns to drive event attendees and exhibits/sponsorship sales, including assisting with: basic copywriting and HTML emails. Candidate will be responsible for editing htmls, scheduling, QAing, tracking and reporting
• Collaborate with the Marketing, Events, Sales, Creative Services, Operations, and Content teams about the assigned marketing initiatives
• Assist in executing a comprehensive events marketing plan
• Execute free and paid social media campaigns to create engagement/registrations including basic copywriting and developing basic graphics utilizing social media publishing tools
• Research, scope, and analyze industry and local partnerships and assist in executing partner deliverables
• Manage and place tickets to the web team for regular website updates
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or other related field
• 1-2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in B2B (engineering or manufacturing market knowledge a plus but not required)
• Creative thinker (thinks outside the box)
• Basic HTML skills
• Knowledge social media marketing best practices, both paid and unpaid
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Be able to handle several projects simultaneously, while meeting daily deadlines
