Overview
Canon Solutions America is a Canon U.S.A. Company providing integrated systems technology that comprise one of the strongest solutions portfolios in the document management industry. This is a HQ Marketing position responsible for managing a team of Integrated Solutions Product Specialists. This role is responsible for driving team and individual performance of software marketing activities such as product life-cycle management, product marketing, content development, application development and market research. Responsibilities
• Day to day management and responsibility for a team of integrated solutions marketing specialists
• Product life cycle management of all Canon Software and 3rd party hardware and software products
• Must have the ability to understand complex workflows and create solutions that resonate with customers; must be able to understand market needs and create innovative, unique solutions
• Proactive research on customers, markets, products, applications and services; analyzing product trends/markets to identify new opportunities on a national basis
• Overseeing and editing content developed by marketing specialists including effective internal and customer facing campaigns, product launches, events, promotions, presentations, sales tools, proposal templates, showroom workflow, scripted demonstrations, sales training content, announcements, Sales Guides, Marketing Guides, FAQs
• Development of effective and innovative pricing & promotion strategies for all respective products and services
• Manage the development of Case Studies/Success Stories
• Participation in various Marketing events (Industry Trade Shows, VIP Customer Meetings, etc.)
• Active engagement with Industry Analysts relative to Canon Solutions America products and services offerings
• Delivery of presentations as necessary to various audiences
• Frequent collaboration with Canon USA Product Marketing, 3rd party partners, Professional Services organization and other internal departments
Qualifications
Education/Training Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree
• 10+ years of Marketing experience
• Management experience is required
Skills
• Strong business acumen
• Software Marketing experience
• Strong technical skills
• Project management experience
• Strategy development and alignment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer and market-driven orientation
• Able to develop strong relationships with other business functions
