Talent Acquisition Director
I. Job Summary
| Major goals and objectives.
The Talent Acquisition Director will partner with the Executive Director to set the annual strategic staffing plan as well as serving as the company’s representative at national recruiting events, partnering with third-party solution providers in technology and services to optimize Meredith’s recruiting tool set, identifying and recommending new best in class strategies, and leading our efforts around collaboration with schools and universities.
The Talent Acquisition Director will manage a team of Talent Acquisition partners who are responsible for sourcing, screening, and leading the selection process of best-in-class talent in the industry. This responsibility will also include managing team members weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually against talent acquisition KPIs.
Finally, the Talent Acquisition Director will be responsible for all facets of full-cycle recruiting for an active requisition load. The incumbent will partner directly with HR business partners, practice leaders, and managers to source, screen, and acquire the best talent in the markets in which we operate. This will be done through acquiring a deep understanding of our business, internal client’s needs, and aligning a talent acquisition strategy with those needs and executing on that strategy by utilizing knowledge of talent pools and sourcing strategies to generate a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.

Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts including marketing/PR, sourcing, screening, interviewing and recommending top candidates for positions in all levels of Meredith. Track progress and results against metric targets including time to fill, third party costs, cost of vacancy, talent quality, and customer satisfaction

Create and execute the annual strategic talent acquisition plan in collaboration with the Executive Director of Talent Acquisition. Network with third-party vendors and partners when needed to provide additional support to talent acquisition needs

Manage, direct, develop, and engage one or more TA Partners and ensure they are meeting expectations and delivering optimal results as measured by critical staffing KPIs – Time to fill, hiring stage cycle times, quality of hires, cost of hire, and client satisfaction. Oversee the efforts towards our pipelining programs including campus recruiting, fellowships, and apprentice programs.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements| All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of corporate or centralized recruiting experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting in all levels. Some experience with executive recruiting is preferred. Must have past experience successfully managing a team of one or more employees.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Past experience successfully developing and executing a talent acquisition plan
• Excellent managerial skills and the ability to guide, direct, and hold team members accountable for meeting expectations
• Experience constructing, measuring, and analyzing hiring KPIs
• Must have experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools
• CTS/ATS experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates. Experience with Workday Recruiter is a plus. LinkedIn Recruiter experience highly preferred
• Excellent inter-personal, communication and presentation skills; including high competencies in cross-group collaboration.
• Must have experience on mapping and sourcing resumes from all sources.
• Strong vendor managements skills.
• Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office and in depth knowledge of data mining and internet research.
• Ability to work with clients of various levels and interpersonal styles
• Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships.

• Excellent communication skills orally and in writing with the ability to deliver concise, complete, and timely information to various groups and individuals
