This role will be responsible for vendor management governance and activities related to product and service vendors. This role will manage performance for a mix of strategic and mid-tier vendors that are strategic and critical to the organization. This role is accountable for vendor performance management, risk management, relationship management and compliance.
• Responsible for developing and utilizing vendor governance framework (supplier performance management) to drive vendor alignment and promote desired behaviors
• Manage a set (5-10) of Mid-tier vendors (high spend/high revenue/high complexity) utilizing vendor governance processes (i.e. Financial & Risk Management, Relationship & Communication Management, Performance & Quality Management and Compliance)
• Manage existing contracts and SLA’s and work with procurement to ensure that terms are updated regularly to meet the needs of the business
• Responsible for leading annual cross functional Business Reviews with managed vendors
• Responsible for approving contractual Statements of Work (SOW)
• Approving Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA)
• Ensure strong relationships are built with vendors in order to influence vendors effectively
• Support and produces reporting and metrics that drive and demonstrate vendor health, vendor SLA’s, and key performance metrics to achieve our business objectives
• Ensure vendors are current on invoicing and financial accruals
• Serve as point of escalation for issues related to vendor performance
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related disciplines. Required
• 5+ years of business experience that includes vendor and/or partnership management
• Ability to effectively operate within diverse and cross functional groups, including outside vendors
• Proven project management and analytical skills
• Ability to analyze issues, develop and deploy solutions within a dynamic team environment
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
• Well organized, strong administrative and detail oriented skills
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication, problem solving and interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Advanced experience with standard MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Budgeting and forecasting experience
