Job Summary
The Sr. Manager, Field Marketing will be responsible for the management and performance of a division of Field Marketing Managers (FMMs), specifically in setting the strategy for identification, development and implementation of event strategies, sponsorships, and sales tools which accelerate the sales cycle for Spectrum Enterprise sales teams. Leveraging strong collaboration and project management skills, this individual will work cross-functionally with sales and marketing leaders to align the strategy and establish goals which maximize the impact of local marketing initiatives. Additionally the Sr. Manager, Field Marketing will be accountable for analytics and budget management for the division, including the accurate forecasting, tracking, and measurement of all Field Marketing initiatives to ensure maximum return on investment.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
• Set the division Field Marketing strategy and lead the Field Marketing Managers in the evaluation, development, and execution of market specific programs and initiatives (i.e. events, sponsorship, tradeshows, blitzes) which drive brand awareness, demand generation, pipeline growth, and revenue generation.
• Collaborate with Enterprise sales leaders to align on the strategy and market plans which will deliver against the goals in place for national and local markets.
• Deliver market plans, events, and programs which are within budget and on schedule, defining metrics and analyzing results to track program efficiency and creative success.
• Collaborate and influence decisions cross-functionally (Product Marketing, Public Relations, Acquisition/Demand Generation) to ensure integration of field programs into the customer journey and alignment of messaging to both internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in building strategy and implementing field marketing plans in the telecommunications or business services industry (B2B) with preferred knowledge of Mid-Market segments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve results.
• Customer-focused with a proven track record of success in achieving/exceeding growth and profitability goals through innovative marketing and event programs.
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
• Collaborative, team-based posture with the necessary “people” competencies to communicate a passion for winning.
• Service orientation and comfortability interacting with senior-level executives through written and verbal communications.
• Strong attention to detail balanced with the ability to think strategically.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data to make recommendations based on analysis and expertise.
Education
• Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline and/or an equivalent experience
• MBA / Masters preferred

Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of cable television, high speed Internet and phone products and services preferred
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; proficient in other desktop applications
