Manager, Culture & Creative Insights - Velocity
Overview and Responsibilities

Velocity Culture & Creative Insights is responsible for unearthing insights about different audiences and the cultural context in which they exist. The Manager should have a strong interest in consumer brands, media, business and culture, and possess the ability to think strategically about how these elements interact. An entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to adapt to a variety of business and cultural initiatives are critical. You will provide support and at times lead various client-facing projects, potentially including business and brand strategies, insights/trends studies, competitive research reports, insights that fuel the development of creative concepts, communications and events.
• Support cross-disciplinary working team(s) in the development of project deliverables
• Research and analyze relevant industry and cultural trends, evaluate business problems
• Prepare creative/strategic briefs and project assignments and manage timelines, etc.
• Lead the development of presentations, videos and briefing materials
• Manage day-to-day relationships with third-party partners
• Manage project resources, including timelines, budgets, materials production, event planning, etc.
Basic Qualifications
• An undergraduate degree
• 3-5 years’ experience working in consulting, brand strategy, or advertising agency, and a familiarity with Integrated marketing and Ad Sales
• Experience supporting cross-disciplinary working team(s) dedicated to pitching and executing projects (e.g., assessments, strategies, research studies, creative concepts, industry analyses, presentations & events)
• Experience preparing creative/strategic briefs and project assignments and managing timelines, etc.
Additional Qualifications
• Experience as an account manager or strategic planner is desireable
• Outstanding communication with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work collaboratively Excellent written and desk research skills
• Operational and executional prowess on a wide variety of assignments, including, but not limited to: research, analysis, and project management
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment; flexible and adaptable to change
• Ability to research and analyze relevant industry and cultural trends, in order to evaluate business problems
