Job Description
JOB PURPOSE: The Inside Sales Account Executive will work cooperatively with the Sales Manager, Outside Sales, and other members of the Sales & Marketing team to grow existing customers, create new business
and meet or exceed sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Meet and exceed individual and department sales quotas through adherence to established sales guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Generate new and repeat sales by providing services and product information in a timely manner, with follow-up phone calls.
• Lead generation and qualification via cold calling, prospecting and developing a network of contacts in the assigned territory, via telephone sales.
• Event Coordination for all accounts in assigned territory.
• Update mailing addresses and contact information for sales calls and direct mail campaigns.
• Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific services and solutions.
• Day of event customer service and coordination for special events and catered outings (weekends mandatory).
• Accounts receivable collections.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum Associates degree in Sales or Marketing with one to three years phone sales experience.
• Excellent communication skills and must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Strong computer and typing skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Interpersonal skills and professional appearance.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours in season and weekends.
• Valid New York State driver's license required
• Must be able to work in a team oriented environment.
• Goal oriented, plans accordingly for all activities.
• Self - motivated with high level of drive, energy, persistence and initiative.
• Proactive, committed, has high standards, achievement oriented, does what it takes to get job done and has a high level of enthusiasm with everything they do.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Any and all other duties that is assigned or necessary in order to support the Marketing Department and the park as a whole. • Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. This position requires occasional work in or around wetness, confined spaces-cramped quarters, heights, noise, detergents/chemicals, mechanical hazards, moving objects, fumes/odors, dust, mists, gases, or vibrations. The noise level is generally moderate.
