The job:
The Associate Manager of Commerce Strategy requires e-Commerce and analytics experience to support the expansion of Meredith’s editorial affiliate program. This position will require someone who is passionate about data as they will be responsible for compiling insights and providing strategic analysis and reporting to support editorial commerce initiatives and day-to-day content production.
You will:
• Track content performance by publisher
• Assist edit with affiliate link creation. Regularly check content to ensure referral links are tagged and properly optimized, checking daily for errors
• Ensure archival/evergreen content is optimized
• Work with audience development to ensure promotion of commerce content, identify trends, promotion opportunities, and leveraging non-affiliated high performing content
• Analyze reporting tools to identify growth opportunities and new traffic patterns to discover what’s driving engagement
• Keep up with editorial coverage across several brands and support editorial workflow. Assess content impact and develop actionable strategies, recommendations, and provide customized reporting
• Collaborate with members of the commerce team
You have:
• Strong interest in commerce content
• General knowledge of affiliates (Amazon, Rakuten, Skimlinks, Commission Junction, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills; able to formulate actionable strategies
• Ability to spot new shopping trends and demos that can inform editorial content
• A highly proactive and solution-oriented mind
• Strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of CMS
• Knowledge of other digital media and research reporting tools (Google Analytics, CMS, Social Flow, Parsley, Crowd Tangle, Facebook Insights, etc.)
