Job Description
The Human Resources Associate supports with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources functions and duties. The Human Resources Associate carries out responsibilities in introducing employees to the organization and ensuring that their first impression of the organization is positive. A professional demeanor and the ability to promote a team environment are essential, as are excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Conduct new hire orientation to ensure that all brand employees receive a state of the art on-boarding program by creating a memorable experience on their first day.
• Complete all new hire paperwork, reaching out to regional office, employee follow up and office administration set up
• Serve as resource for new hires to help acclimate them to the company culture and respond to inquires
• Act as the new employee point of contact for their first 90 days to streamline their on-boarding and ease their adjustment to the agency culture.
• Ensure compliance and accuracy in maintaining all employee files and record keeping including new hire checklist, new hire welcome information
• Conduct new-hire roundtables to gather feedback and further improve our on-boarding experience
• Coordination of termination process (paperwork, tracking, Personal Actions Notifications, exit interview reporting, and summaries)
• Conduct exit interviews for entry level positions, develop and share exit reporting to spot trends and gain insight into opportunities for organizational improvement
• Actively listen to clients and continually identify opportunities to lead the HR team thinking
Qualifications
Ad Hoc:
• Complete monthly and quarterly HR reports (turnover, performance appraisal, vacation liability, etc.)
• Coordinate Organizational Development initiatives (Talent Planning, performance reviews, etc.)
• Process internal paperwork for promotions, transfers and salary changes by inputting necessary information in Personal Actions Notifications
• Maintain employees file to key accountabilities requirements
• Act as front-line customer service to our employees; respond to employees on daily inquiries, policy and/or benefits matters
• Coordinate employee events (Take Your Kids To Work Day, annual health fair, and various charity walks)
• Administer special benefits such as tuition reimbursement, health and wellness stipend, new parent’s gift, and matching gifts
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree, along with 1-2 year work experience/internship in an office environment
• Excellent analytical, problem solving skills, strong attention to detail, and particular aptitude for reporting
• Have great customer service, communication and interpersonal skill
• Demonstrated success working in fast paced environment and in using sound judgment with handling confidential and sensitive information
• Proficiency with HRIS, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint essential
