Condé Nast Entertainment is looking for an enthusiastic, analytically-minded candidate to join our Video Research & Analytics team, in a role that helps to support the digital sales group.
This position requires strong quantitative abilities and a knack for quickly accessing and digesting varied data sources. He or she will possess strong intellectual curiosity, excellent organizational skills and a proficiency at using data to create a story.
The Analyst, Research & Analytics will report to the Senior Manager, Research & Analytics and will work closely with internal Conde Nast departments, including Sales, Marketing, Communications and Editorial.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Support sales with the development of strong positioning stories to highlight the value of our digital video audience
• Use internal and third-party tools to provide sellers and marketing teams with video data and insights to respond to RFPs
• Assist with video ad effectiveness studies and primary research projects, compiling results and creating presentations
• Provide data-driven recommendations to Branded Content teams
• Work with PR to ensure the team has the latest viewership information
• Monitor video research trends and assist in assessing new measurement tools
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Arts or Science in a quantitative field of study such as business, statistics, math, or economics
• 1-5 years of experience in sales research
• A genuine interest and knowledge of the media and digital industry landscape
• Experience working with 3rd party research tools including comScore, Nielsen, MRI, and Social Analytics tools
• Attention to detail and accuracy in compiling and analyzing data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects, prioritize and deliver on time
