As our Senior Content Manager, you'll collaborate with experience designers and steer the content strategy for digital projects, including websites, interactive games, and voice- and text-enabled assistants. As part of ongoing maintenance for client websites, you'll handle content updates, fact-checking, preparing edits for stakeholder review, and ensuring the edits are correct in the final product. For new projects, you'll develop content execution plans, write and edit UX copy, and prepare metadata, including page titles, keywords and descriptions.
The ideal candidate will possess strong editorial and technical skills. And since this is a position within an integrated creative department, you'll collaborate with writers, experience designers, art directors, producers and creative technologists.
Responsibilities include:
• UX writing.
• Site content inventories and competitive site content inventories.
• Generating copy decks for both client review and production.
• Writing search-engine-optimized metadata for pages.
• Utilizing analytics and user testing findings to inform content decisions.
• Writing technical documentation and editorial governance plans.
• Authoring messaging guidelines and identifying appropriate voice and tone.
• Working with project managers and developers to communicate requirements.
• Uploading new content or updates to a content management system.
• Fact verification.
Skills and Requirements:
• A seasoned content strategist with 6 – 10 years at an agency or similar, dynamic creative environment.
• Experience with all stages of the content lifecycle: research, creation, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), curation, development, and maintenance.
• The technical chops to perform daily tasks: HTML, Drupal, WordPress, Excel (filters, sorting, pivot tables), AP Style, JIRA or a similar bug-tracking system, YouTube Video Manager.
This is your chance to join a highly creative environment and help deepen the content team in our expanding Boston office, one of over 90 Mullen Lowe offices worldwide. In addition to your resume, please include samples of your site and content experience in the form of a portfolio site and/or case studies.
We look forward to hearing from you!
