Boomers! Medford is looking for an energetic, fun and outgoing individual to join our management team. The Operations Manager manages the overall store operations, including management of food inventories, expenses, staffing requirements, and labor costs. This is accomplished by achieving and maintaining the Park’s standards of operation, efficiently and safely. The Operations Manager reports directly to the General Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Negotiates and maintains relationships with guests, Team Members, and business clients.
• Coordinates and provides daily oversight of ticketing, attraction and F&B operations, procedures, and daily activities.
• Oversees Team Members insuring all policies, procedure, safety, and daily activities are being followed.
• Ensures compliance with PALACE FEC policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal employment laws.
• Daily operation of ticketing, attraction and F&B operations as needed.
• Oversees and maintains open communication with management and department Supervisors.
• Oversees and trains Team Members on the maintenance of PALACE FEC property including, facilities’ cleanliness and maintenance.
• Reviews applicants’ qualifications, interviews part-time staff.
• Follows through in obtaining work permits, first aid certificates, CPR certificates and food handler certificates where necessary.
• Follows instructions and requests by upper management.
• Assists in oversight of maintenance of location equipment and attractions.
• Completes counseling, work related injury paperwork, and payroll reports in a timely and accurate manner consistent with policies and procedures.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
• Enforces policies and procedures relating to problems and emergencies, which occurs during business operations.
• Assists with the development and training of Team Members.
• Creates and posts notices regarding policy changes.
• Maintains necessary inventory and orders department supplies.
• Maintains uniform standards.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Directly supervises Department Supervisors.
• Directly supervises Team Members.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two to four years of related experience and/or training
• Two-year college or university program certificate preferred
COMPUTER SKILLS
• General knowledge of computers including word processing, graphics, scheduling, graphics, and spreadsheet applications.
