JOB SUMMARY
Under direct supervision, increases penetration and decreases churn of existing client base while generating new monthly recurring revenue and maintaining existing customer sales from specific products and/or markets.
ILLUSTRATIVE ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values
• Negotiates upsell opportunities to existing customer base through new pricing, products and service packages
• Continually works on existing customer base to renew contracts and guarantee revenue over a term while reducing churn
• Performs sales and customer support tasks to ensure customer satisfaction in the existing base
• Negotiates and prepares complete and accurate documentation for Commercial Service Agreements based on established strategic, financial, legal and operational criteria.
• Develops relationships with existing customers and prospects by contacting customers at least once a quarter, maintaining customer information in Suddenlink’s CRM system.
• Understands the needs of the local business owners and provides solutions to meet those needs
• Performs ROI assessment for profitability and submits for approval
• Works with Sales Engineer, Operations, Construction and IP Engineering to determine appropriate solutions for commercial customer opportunities
• Ensures product pricing reflects pricing structures set at the corporate level
• Meets or exceeds corporate/regional sales goals
• Responsible for developing and maintaining strategic sales plans
• Develops knowledge of Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), networking, consultation, negotiation, and sales skills through completion of required/recommended training programs
• Other duties as required by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred
• Ability to sell based on a cost-benefit analysis
• Strong technical aptitude
• Strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize effectively
• Proficiency in using a Windows-based computer with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills
• Exemplary people and relationship management skills
• Ability to analyze accurately with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and with others
WORK EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 1 year tele-sales or related experience
• Consultative selling experience preferred
• 1+ years experience in telephony, data, and video systems sales preferred
