The HR Manager reports to the VP, Human Resources & Organization Development and partners with the centralized HR team. The HR Manager is responsible for aligning business objectives with HR Strategies for employees and management executes on HR initiatives; serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues and through collaborative partnerships, delivers value- added solutions that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The role is the trusted HR advisor to both Lionsgate and Starz employees, assesses and anticipates HR related needs, proactively communicates with our HR and business management teams, and seeks to develop integrated solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Primary point of contact for all HR related matters for assigned business groups Collaborates with centralized HR Team to deliver HR initiatives, programs, and processe
• Consults with business leadership to assess business needs and develop best in class HR solution
• Manages complex and difficult employee relations issues within assigned business group Partners with VP, Human Resources & Organization Development and others as needed, to resolve and manage risk.
• Supports annual performance management process within assigned business groups.
• Delivers on development and succession plans for key talent and key job positions.
• Actively identifies business/team related gap Proposes and implements changes necessary to bridge gaps and mitigate risks.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources or closely related fields required
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an HRBP or HR Generalist role
• Minimum 5 years’ experience providing HR support in a corporate office environment; entertainment industry, cable, media Industry experience highly preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, change management, employee relations, diversity, talent and performance management
• Strong Experience managing and resolving complex employee relations issues
• Experience in organizational design and restructures in a corporate environment
• Ability to solve a wide range of complex, multi-disciplinary problems
