We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Analyst to join the team and work hand in hand to shape how programs are measured, identify optimization opportunities and scale. This work will occur across different marketing strategies and channels (paid ads, experiential, organic social, etc.) and the ability to understand the interconnectivity within integrated programs will be essential. Additionally, this role will require someone who is passionate about playing a key role in creating the vision for marketing analytics at Pinterest and the architecture for both program performance and consumer insight mining.
What you’ll do:
• Define and measure short and long-term program success, including what metrics to focus on and why
• Play a pivotal role in designing, building and executing dashboards and surveys to help data-driven decision making
• Conduct data analyses to measure the effectiveness of multi-channel marketing campaigns against every stage of the marketing funnel such as regressions, factor analyses, t-tests and ANOVAs
• Oversee insights reporting, including generation of reporting templates, applying expertise and perspective not just analysis and communicating data/recommendations in a compelling way
• Work cross-functionally to compile and communicate key insights and offer recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of seniority
What we're looking for:
• 5+ years of marketing analyst experience in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
• Expertise in marketing attribution modeling & measurement, across multiple channels
• Experience creating measurement methodologies and dashboards
• Strong data storytelling skills and the ability to communicate them cross-functionally
• Ability to prioritize and multitask; ability to adapt to a fast-moving environment
• Excellent team player with the ability to maintain strong internal and external relationships
• Experience with Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, comScore, and Tableau - ability to tap into Pinterest’s data pipeline will be key to success
