General Duties
Supervisors are expected to report on time and fulfill their entire scheduled shift.
Delegate assignments to technicians using effective communication and follow up
Maintain good communication with all partners. i.e. facility staff, NYSGC, outside vendors
Attend Monthly technical conference calls for updates and facilitate to staff

Initiating Performance Appraisals:
Maintain yearly employee history sheets with updates good and bad regularly
Provide regular feedback for technicians using good communication methods
Continuously improve employee performance through coaching
Inspect technician repairs to ensure proper techniques and procedures
Ensure radio calls are answered and addressed timely
Assist technicians, per escalation procedure
Monitor 2hr limits on troubleshooting
Ensure timely and accurate incident reports are submitted
Provide Training and coaching on the following:
• Responsible for initiating and following up on in person technician trainings:
CAP Curriculum – In person training
Management Terminal (MGAM)
Sign Repair, Sign lifts, machine lifts
Preventative Maintenance of equipment
Various Corporate Electronic/Written Documentation
Inventory Control
Hardware
Software
Additional trainings as they arise
Performance
Schedule, inspect and evaluate preventative maintenance on VLTs, signs, and ETGs
Assess various issues and develop project plans i.e. (BV repair, touch screen firmware flash, cosmetic issues, etc.)
Ensure all floor condition issues are addressed on a daily basis
Monitor facility and NYGC communications for issues to be addressed (drop report, shift updates no play report, ETG questions etc.)
Assist and provide oversight on performance improvement plans i.e. game installs, conversions, removals, game moves.
Ensure zone tasks are completed daily
Scheduling
On-Site:
Monitor Technician shifts and break schedules
Scheduled supervision for projects/conversions
Coordinate and Schedule with in-house Electricians, Maintenance, Security, VGM, Surveillance, and Drop Team
Assign technicians to special projects or PM’s
Manage call outs/tardiness and summarize weekly for respective shift
Technical Responsibilities
Troubleshooting to component level the following as outlined in by the facilities escalation procedure
• Signage
• VLT’s and ETG’s
• Bally office/testing equipment
Testing
Provide feedback, pictures, and information for engineering on software, hardware, or gaming setup/operation
Create, edit, and maintain issue statements, spreadsheets or other documents for employees to track issues on new or existing issues
Provide communication to technicians on current issues, issue statements, and resolutions
Specific Supervisor duties
Day Shift Supervisor
• Assemble and distribute lists for technicians on shift daily
• Send shift report to Management team at end of shift
• Attend NYSGC monthly meetings and communicate to Internal personal updates
• Provide training to technicians as needed
◦ Provide new hire training as needed
• Monitor technician logs for accuracy and participation
• Organize CO’s and assign duties to technicians to complete game moves, conversions, installs
• Follow up with technicians on list distributions and preventative maintenance
• Coordinate with Night shift supervisors on needed parts and assemble weekly parts orders due no later than Tuesday each week
◦ Track back ordered items and escalate once critical levels are reached
◦ Suggest initial trigger amounts or necessary changes to trigger amounts
• Complete critical parts inventory Weekly
• Receiving incoming parts orders and move them to P6 storage
• General housekeeping duties in P6, Spa and Tech shop
• Conduct staff meetings that conveys vision and upcoming projects
• Compile weekly tech log reports
Nigh Shift Supervisors
• Follow up on days shift list distributions and preventative maintenance
• Send shift report to Management team at end of shift
• Monitor technician logs for accuracy and participation
• Provide training to technicians as needed
◦ Provide new hire training as needed
• Organize CO’s and assign duties to technicians to complete game moves, conversions, installs
• Move RMA parts from tech shop to Spa storage and box up for shipping out
◦ Discard parts that are not on the RMA list
• Log incoming parts into inventory, and send follow up documentation.
• Label and put incoming parts on shelf
• Complete monthly inventory cycle counts
• General housekeeping duties in P6, Spa and Tech shop
• Conduct staff meetings that conveys vision and upcoming projects
• Compile and submit monthly report
