Our Retail Direct Group has an exciting opportunity in our Framingham, MA office. The Construction and Migration Manager will be responsible for supervising a global team to maximize efficiency of building, maintaining and updating the Bose portfolio of stores to represent the brand consistently and with a level of workmanship that creates value for customers. This role is responsible for maximizing the profitability of the business by coordinating all aspects of the global Retail Customer Experience concept to ensure on-time openings within projected budgets for each store globally.
Knowledge and abilities:
• Ability to think strategically and synthesize complex information to identify the most effective solutions within a global environment
• Strong problem-solving, decision making and project management skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to create, plan and deliver presentations.
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, in a demanding, fast-paced environment
• Must have proficient Microsoft skills and the ability to track and report financial spend and analyze job level and industry standard data. Use data to make decisions and influence outcomes.
• Must have an attitude to Global mindset and willing to travel worldwide including managing team members in multiple countries with the ability to coach, guide, manage and develop employees. 25-40% global travel is required.
Required qualifications:
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience working in store planning, construction and maintenance
• Experience working with and implementing digital demonstration technologies in retail
• Experience with vendor negotiation, contract review and full working knowledge and understanding of retail construction terminology, financial terms and principles
• Experience working in a global organization
• Exceptional people management skills including strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships across all levels
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering preferred
