JOB DESCRIPTION
The Fox Digital Consumer Group is a strategic business unit with a customer-driven focus that is leading the consumer-driven revolution in media and entertainment. The group is strengthening and improving Fox Networks’ already successful TV Everywhere apps as well as developing, building and executing new consumer offerings that deliver fantastic Fox content in new and exciting ways.
Fox DCG is responsible for driving the development of platforms and capabilities and overseeing the ongoing enhancement and support of Fox Networks’ existing apps and TV Everywhere, including Fox Now, FX Now, Fox Sports Go and the National Geographic TV Apps, as well as the creation of new direct to consumer TV products. Additionally, DCG works hand-in-hand with the network marketing groups to promote awareness, adoption and usage of our TV Everywhere offerings, guide strategy and business development for new offerings, and manage key partner relationships (including the integration with Fox’s regional businesses in Europe, Asia and Latin America).
As a Department Coordinator for Fox DCG’s executive office, you will have the unique opportunity to support high-level executives with a full range of administrative and organizational duties. As a member of the team, you will be an integral part ensuring proper communication flow, calendar organization, and general support to ensure a smooth running efficient department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate and maintain heavy executive calendars including meeting requests, evolving changes, and time management prioritization.
• Arrange and book executive travel schedules – developing itineraries and agendas, confirming airfare, hotel, car arrangements, etc.
• Coordination of complex executive meetings and events
• Reconcile invoices, track budgets, and complete expense reports
• Create and develop processes improvements to increase department productivity
• Manage shared department documents to ensure information is up-to-date and accurate
• Support related administrative and department needs
• Assist with department hire process and new team onboarding
• Handle and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
QUALIFICATIONS
• Undergraduate degree or above
• 1-2 years’ experience supporting at the executive level
• Experience managing complex calendars and scheduling requests including executive meetings, ongoing updates, and multiple lines of communication
• Experience scheduling travel arrangements including airfare, hotel, car arrangements, etc.
• Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision making ability and attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Exceptional work ethic and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Passion for entertainment and technology
