SUMMARY
Hulu’s Advertising Sales Research Team is seeking a talented person to help create the future of television and innovate in the advertising and measurement space. The Ad Sales Research Analyst working in Audience Measurement and Analytics, will you will use your knowledge of syndicated research tools, media math and your analytical skills to tell the stories of Hulu’s data and our advertisers’ success. WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Leverage proprietary and syndicated tools to create and present analyses for internal and external clients that tell Hulu’s story to the marketplace and advertiser clients
• Support the advertising team with research and analytics, including but not limited to audience data, site metrics, marketplace research and internal consumption data
• Assess Hulu relative to other media properties and develop actionable insights to help tell the story that best positions Hulu
• Create and report on custom media targets based on media briefs and RFPs; Help account executives create prospecting tools in pre-sale efforts
• Work collaboratively with the Integrated Marketing team to create marketing collateral and campaign proposals, providing the necessary research to support and sell through marketing ideas
• Measure advertiser campaign performance, providing insights and actionable recommendations
• Consult with sales and advertiser clients to provide them the context to help optimize Hulu media plans and buys
WHAT TO BRING
• 2+ years of media experience at a fast-paced web publisher, media agency or TV Network
• Proficient with syndicated media research and analytics tools: comScore VideoMetrix, comScore PlanMetrix, MRI, Nielsen Scarborough, Kantar Market Advisor, Nielsen nPower
• Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Understanding of media planning and media math (reach, frequency, audience composition, coverage, etc.)
• Knowledge of the media landscape and preferably the digital media landscape
• Strong mathematical skills and an interest in finding stories in the data through in-depth analyses
• Bachelor of Arts/Sciences in Social Sciences, Communications, Mathematics or another related field
