Job Description
The IT Director (BI / Big Data) will ensure the implementation and development of BI/Big Data initiatives that are in line with the group’s strategic guidelines and vision. They are also responsible for the growth and overall well-being of the Enterprise Data teams.
Responsibilities:
• Drive, initiate and follow through on the initiatives and strategies supporting the global vision of the Enterprise Data teams.
• With the Deputy CIO, follow up on the overall advancement of sector projects (determine delays, risks, resource issues, etc.);
• Manage and own the Enterprise Data teams budget;
• Collaborate with the head office, as well as other Ubisoft studios throughout the world.
• Intervene in the case of delicate HR situations (job termination, disciplinary issues, team cooperation problems, etc);
• Carry out all other related tasks.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in IT or management.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the field of Business Intelligence (BI) and/or Big Data.
• Experience working with complex, international teams.
• Technical background in analysis, development or design is an asset.
• Experience having worked within a creative and highly dynamic company/industry.
• Good skills and knowledge of prioritization, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, increasing transparency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to persuasively advocate agendas to staff, managerial and executive stakeholders; effective communicator and moderator in distributed cross-functional teams.
• Strong personal time-management skills and attention to detail; capable of detecting hidden problems and prioritizing, tracking and managing to resolution multiple issues concurrently
