JOB SUMMARY: Oversee all aspects of the Marketing Department, including advertising, media relations, direct marketing, events and promotions, and social. Director is responsible to hire, coach, and lead a team of marketing professionals. Director will create an integrated marketing plan, designed for guest acquisition, development, and retention, in alignment with the property goals. Director will prepare and track marketing budgets, and coordinate with finance on measuring results. Proven leader in furthering a culture of outstanding service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop annual plans and strategies to meet the overall goals of the property
• Manage a group marketing professionals and front line guest service individuals in the implementation of plans and strategies in alignment with property and corporate goals.
• Coordinate all aspects of the marketing including advertising, promotions, direct marketing, entertainment, website presence, digital content, social engagement and sponsorship sales.
• Maintain and submit all State Grant opportunities for the property in relationship to marketing functions.
• Maintain compliance with SOX and solve audit compliance issues in a timely manner.
• Further a culture of outstanding customer service, both within the marketing area and property wide.
• Develop measureable plans for media coverage in line with property goals, further media relations
• Manage marketing budget in line with the revenue goals
• Train and develop marketing team members
• Create measureable social media engagement strategy
• All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS: Must possess excellent verbal and written skills necessary to communicate with different departments and the public. Must have leadership skills and vision to drive the department. Must possess good interpersonal, managerial and organizational skills to work in a fast-pace, demanding environment and able to prioritize tasks. Ability to work under pressure. Confidentiality a must. At least 7 to 10 years of experience in the hospitality sales and marketing field, preferably in gaming marketing. Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods. May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment. Must be at least 21. Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing. Must be able to pass a background investigation.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the industry.
