Description
Support the TiVo marketing team with channel marketing programs serving our North American Pay TV Operators. Primary focus will be working on turn-key channel marketing campaigns to arm our operator partners with video, web, radio, print, outdoor, direct mail, and retail marketing tools to message and promote the TiVo Experience to consumers. Secondary focus will be on event marketing to garner new business partnerships as well as increase the partnership level with existing Pay TV customers. The ideal candidate will have an interest in channel/partner marketing programs and a focus and background in either business, marketing, digital media or graphic design. The candidate will work with internal creative resources and external agencies to package and deliver creative assets (messaging, video, graphics, social, etc.) for our Pay TV Operators to leverage.
Priority given to candidates with an interest in with the TV industry – both cable/broadcast and OTT streaming, (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube.)
This role will report to the Channel Marketing Manager and work closely with the VP of Marketing Operations as well as the VP of Brand.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
• Requires details-driven, organized person to team up with creative resources from our internal team as well as external agencies.
• Support development of channel marketing messaging and associated collateral
• Assist with campaign development which includes copywriting, research, and securing content from studios.
• Organize event planning for TiVo workshops, tradeshows, webinars targeting Pay-TV operators.
• Work with internal creative team and outside agencies to package up and deliver assets to 38 Pay-TV operators via Basecamp and other online project management tools.
• Brainstorm innovative marketing initiatives to help Pay-TV operators retain potential cord-cutters by leveraging the TiVo Experience.
Requirements:
• Pursuing a degree in: Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, Communications, Interactive Arts & Media or similar.
• Ability to manage work independently as well as with a team in an effective, collaborative manner
• Proficient copywriting skills
• Interest in learning B2B2C Channel Marketing processes
• Experience with blogging, social media marketing, email marketing
