GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Welcome all guests to the Gold Room/VIP areas. Ensure that Eldorado standards of the Gold Room/VIP areas are followed daily to include guest check ins/outs, VIP transportation and special requests.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Includes, but is not limited to the following.)
• Welcome guests with a positive, courteous and sincere attitude when they walk through the door.
• Ensure guests receive the correct room type in proper working condition with specific VIP requests given.
• Assist with all check outs and check ins.
• Provide accurate information about the Eldorado special events, offers and amenities.
• Maintain the par levels of guest supplies for the gold room in anticipation of the expected number of VIP staying.
• Assist and act as a concierge for our VIP guests.
• Assist casino marketing with suite reports.
• Assist with VIP transportation needs.
• Create and adhere to a weekly schedule.
GUEST SERVICE STANDARDS: Employee is required to meet the following Service Standards:
• Review Guest history prior to their arrival and use Guest history
• Greet Guests by name – Use three times in each encounter
• Offer refreshment at the bar
• Offer to sign up customer’s friends with Eldorado One Club
• Follow up with a satisfaction call within 10 minutes of check in for all 1-2’s
Requirements:
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Coordinate group check-in and check-out process.
Pre-assign guest room requests.
Stock VIP guest requests prior to guest check in.
Behave as a hotel concierge for our VIP guests and Casino Hosts.
Work closely with the front desk, during high occupancy periods.
Welcome all guests who enter the gold room, while monitoring the qualification of guests who are allowed to utilize the room.
Prepare VIP transportation requests.
Follow good cashiering habits, perform a variety of account postings, guest settlements, and balance all work done at shift’s end.
Stay up to date with all current information and promotional offers, groups and special events that may affect the gold room and any daily operations.
Work closely with other departments on a daily basis.
Be knowledgeable of all Eldorado facilities (restaurants, bars, showroom, etc.) and recommend our establishments and amenities to the guest.
Answer all phone calls promptly (within three rings) and courteously.
Work behind the bar as a bartender for VIP guests.
Maintain the par levels of guest supplies in the room.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must have the ability to provide our guests with “Eldorado Family Style” customer service, have excellent observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests.
Must have a thorough knowledge of guest relation skills.
Must have excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal.
Must have basic cashiering skills.
Computer keyboard and PC skills, filing and email experience a must.
Must be able to use a copy machine, telephone, computer, and ten-key.
Must possess number recognition abilities.
Prefer one year of either hotel, bar or casino experience.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be able to obtain Nevada Gaming and Alcohol Awareness.
