Position Overview
This is a great opportunity for a web specialist with strong graphic design skills to work in the Corporate Communications Division. Key responsibilities include updating and coding content for posting to the Company's Intranet news site, and design of the bi-monthly 40-page internal magazine.
Responsibilities
This position will work closely with members of the Internal Communications team to update and maintain the company's Intranet news site, coding and posting new content to the site twice weekly. The candidate will also work closely with team members to design the bi-monthly employee magazine, which is distributed to all employees across Canon Americas in four languages. Candidate will also contribute process and design support for various division and Company initiatives.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and at least 2-3 years of experience working in a similar role. Experience utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and InDesign is required. General understanding of content management systems and development environments a plus.
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have highly developed organizational skills, the ability to work independently and efficiently, and prioritize and complete tasks under multiple deadlines.
