about the role
Main activities:
Connectivity Pre-Sales Expertise
Assist Sales and Pre-Sales Teams to develop strategies to promote and sell Orange’s Connectivity Solutions to existing and new customers.
Participate to key customer sales meetings and provides higher level of expertise, support proposals, and solution presentations and on-site demonstrations.
Develop good customer relationships by personal visits, phone calls, follow-ups, e-mails etc. as technical expert.
Inform Account Managers on identified business opportunities.
Work with internal teams to achieve targeted business goals.
Coordinate with Business development Managers in problem solving, resourcing and budgeting activities.
Identify the knowledge transfer requirements and deliver appropriate trainings
Participate to the conception and implementation of POC and Pilots.
Business Development:
Provide vital information to help Orange’s Product & Marketing organizations to define effective strategies that will best promote Orange’s connectivity solutions.
Analyze existing and potential markets to identify and secure business development opportunities.
Ability to identify new markets and detect new opportunities.
Conduct competitive product analysis and market research to contribute to the development of roadmaps and sales strategy to secure new business.
Participate to marketing campaigns, trade shows and discussions with Analysts, in order to increase Orange’s Connectivity solutions recognition.
Analyze potential and existing markets in order to identify business opportunities
Regularly provide updates on the market competition analysis and knowledge to the sales and service department

Connectivity Director (Sr Sales Expert)
Location: preferred location: US- Midwest - South and East
Profile: 10 year experience in similar positions or Network Pre-Sales or Network Consulting.
Requirements – Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Deep knowledge of Connectivity Technologies including SD-WAN and SDN and Orange’s Connectivity Solutions.
Ability to develop and make presentations for existing and prospective customers, in a professional manner.
Ability to negotiate and dialogue with clients/customers
Must possess effective communication and writing skills
Ability to speak to analysts and large audiences during summits, conventions or trade shows
Must have good sales and marketing skills
Effective people skills: He/she must have the ability to handle people no matter how difficult they might seem.
Ability to engage in new product/service research for Orange
Ability to deliver trainings to technical and non-technical audiences and teach the key concepts in simple manners.
Availability for frequent business trips, several time per month.
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Ability to be self-motivated
Must possess excellent organizational skills
Possess the ability to cope with stress and effectively prioritize tasks
Must have the ability to recognize opportunities and assess Orange’s chances to win.
Creativity: must be able to develop fresh ideas and strategies
Ability to multi-task: He/she must be able to complete several tasks together and meet up with deadlines
Ability to work under pressure and still be effective
