Overview
FOX31 Denver and Colorado's Own Channel 2 in beautiful Denver, Colorado have an immediate opening in their Emmy® Award winning Creative Services Department for an innovative Graphic Designer. We’re looking for a talented artist with an exceptional eye for graphic design. In this position, you will provide time-sensitive, graphic support for news, promotions, sales, commercial, social media, and internal communications.
Responsibilities
Create graphics and animations for over 100 hours of weekly local broadcast programing using the Adobe Creative Suite, Cinema 4D, and raw talent. Produce graphics for print, web, social media, as well as on-air in a fast paced, quick deadline environment. Learn the systems used to display graphics on live tv. Communicate clearly to all departments with customer service, accuracy, and quality always in mind. This position requires working during newscasts. Some early mornings, late nights, and weekends are required.
Qualifications
• College degree in communication arts, graphic design, or equivalent experience.
• Must be a strong designer with expert knowledge of Photoshop.
• Must provide an online demo reel or portfolio of recent work.
• Motion Design experience with After Effects and Cinema 4D preferred.
• Experience with Photography, Audio, Editing a plus.
• Must be detail oriented and able to deliver on tight deadlines with minimal direction.
• HTML and CSS knowledge a plus.
