• Trains and manages Database Marketing staff
• Assists with staff hiring
• Meets with senior management to learn of company’s strategic initiatives then develops tactical plan and calendar to execute initiatives
• Hands-on development and error resolution of campaign management programs
• Leads design and deployment of all property special event data requests
• Responsible for all data inquiries relating to property/guest concerns
• Learns and remains familiar with marketing vision, strategy, and tactics for each of the company’s properties, then assists in development of database campaigns to meet the needs of the properties
• Drives direct communication in all channels, including mail, e-mail, text messaging and telecommunications
• Execute all GEI campaigns by working across the multi-functional teams provided in the list below. These teams are only an example of the primary interactions, and additional resources may be required dependent on the project:
◦ Corporate Database Marketing – strategy and campaign optimization
◦ Corporate Creative – design, branding and variable automation
◦ Corporate Planning and Analysis – framework for reporting and measurement
◦ Corporate Purchasing – price quotes, cost negotiations
◦ Outside Vendors – mail and email deployment
• Property – trafficking data proofs, reinvestment strategy and recommended changes based on post-analysis
• Prepares plans and reports on database segmentation, customer profile analysis and campaign performance
• Coordinates communication between corporate marketing and property-level marketing departments to support departmental objectives
• Stays current with industry technology around email delivery, email providers, text messaging other channels
• Performs other duties as assigned
