JOB SUMMARY:
The front desk agent greets and welcomes guests upon arrival. They also assist the customers with the complete registration process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performs duties as directed by the Supervisor and / or Management.
• Greet, register, and assign guests to their rooms
• Issues room key and other instructions to guests
• Act as an informational source for all resort activities
• Compute guests’ bills and collect payments.
• Will be cross-trained in all functionalities of the front desk (reservations and switch board) and will be required to assist in those areas to maintain service based on immediate business needs.
• All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
Will be friendly, intelligent, and helpful. A pleasant attitude while working with the public will be required. Must be highly organized, possess excellent interpersonal skills, be 100% committed to customer service, excellent communication skills, trouble-shooting. Computer experience is helpful.
Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods. May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment.
Must be at least 21. Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing. Must be able to pass a background investigation.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
