Overview

The Bid Support Specialist is responsible for all aspects of proposal writing. As part of our Bid Support Team, they will prepare responses to Requests For Proposal (RFPs) in support of our Sales Team. Responsibilities
• Interview knowledge experts.
• Write and edit Requests for Proposal (RFPs) content.
• Review RFPs and coordinate their response.
• Provide content for a proposal library to aid future responses.
• Support initiatives of the Bid Support Team, including improving processes and content.
Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Finance or a related area required
• 2-4 years experience in business writing, including RFP experience, grant writing experience a plus
• Excellent communications skills (writing, editing and interviewing)
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
• Knowledge of technology solutions a plus
• Knowledge of Visio and RFP software a plus
