You’ll be participating in and helping shape and improve the day-to-day operations of HR functions.
The ideal candidate is highly responsible, organized, flexible and has the ability to maintain a strict code of confidentiality. You must have a demonstrated aptitude for working well with people, and the desire to jump in and contribute to an agile, fun, and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Take point for employees’ queries around payroll, time-keeping, benefits, leave of absence, and policies and procedures.
• Partner with HR center of excellence (HR Operations, Talent & Organizational Development, Benefits, etc.)
• Assist with facilitating human resources programs, new hire orientation, employee communications, leadership development training, performance management, talent planning, compensation and other various HR programs.
• Ensure the integrity of employee data.
• Keep HRIS and internal databases up to date and process HR transactions in other various HR systems (Workforce, SABA Learning Management System, etc.)
• Provide HRBPs and respective client groups with reporting and special projects as required.
• Assist HRBPs with employee or manager employee relations situation as they arise.
• As needed, complete administrative tasks for the team.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Communications, Psychology, Organizational Behavior, or related field
• A minimum 2 years’ experience in the HR field
• Working knowledge in California employment law
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, oral and written
• Able to work well in a dynamic and ever-changing environment
• Able to maintain a strict code of confidentiality and discretion
• Able to build relationships with functional management as well as front line employees
• Willing to learn and share information
Pluses
• Experience with HR systems, specifically Oracle Fusion, Workday, Workforce, Jobvite
• PHR Certification
• Experience in an HR department with an entertainment, publishing or interactive company
• Passion for games, film, and / or animation
