Spectrum Enterprise currently seeks a Field Marketing Manager – for their Cerritos, CA location. Please find a brief description below of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Job Summary
The Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing Account Executive programs and initiatives primarily focusing on the Mid-Market segments in California and the Northwest. The focus will be on creating and implementing sales tools, executing event strategies and sponsorships, supporting campaigns and new product launches that support the sales organization’s opportunity to generate and close new revenue. In addition, they will be responsible for coordinating internal and external communications for their assigned area(s).
Major Duties & Responsibilities
• Execute marketing plans and programs, and provide ongoing support for all assigned channels to maximize lead generation, sales revenue, sales productivity, and profitability with a particular focus on the Mid-Market and Strategic sales channels. Support new offer, product, and campaign launches. Facilitate and distribute support materials to all Sales teams within the assigned areas (for example: materials for new Acquisition campaigns and product launches).
• Act as the liaison with Sales, Central Marketing, Product Marketing, and Finance providing input and collaborating to launch effective programs and initiatives for Sales.
• Manage/coordinate, execute and monitor customer events such as major tradeshows, sponsorships, and other industry events, particularly high-end events for executive participants. Collaborates with the sales organization to ensure events are aligned with the overall sales strategy, maximizing the ROI.
• Track and measure the distribution of venue tickets to sales teams to maximize return on investment.
• Facilitate the development of communications internally, working with Branding and Content Marketing to develop communications for frontline employees.
• Create and implement sales tools and programs such as blitzes, so as to maximize sales productivity and ROI.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in building and implementing field marketing tactics in the telecommunications or business services industry (B2B) with preferred knowledge of Mid-Market segments.
• Customer-focused with a proven track record of success in achieving/exceeding growth and profitability goals through innovative marketing and event programs.
• General knowledge of fiber connectivity, internet, cloud and cable TV services desired.
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
• Collaborative, team-based posture with the necessary “people” competencies to communicate a passion for winning.
• Must be service-oriented and comfortable managing senior level executives from a written and verbal communication perspective.
• Ability to present professionally to large groups of prospects and customers.
• Self-Starter that is able to work independently without a lot of hands on direction.
• May require up to 50% travel.
Education
• 4-6 years total relevant work experience
• Bachelor’s degree
