Position Overview
Autodesk is seeking a talented and proven Senior Director of Global Services Delivery. Reporting to the VP Customer Success Organization, this is a truly unique time and opportunity for your career trajectory. As a key member of the Customer Success Organization leadership team, your global team of 150+ will own the evolution and expansion of our global packaged service offerings for many of Autodesk’s largest enterprise customers and the consulting partner/SI ecosystem. We’re seeking a seasoned (SaaS preferred) packaged services delivery leader with a clear and strategic vision, flawless executional track record, relentless customer-focus and growth mind set and talent magnet (technical and consulting) to evolve the Global Services Delivery team and ensure customer success, renewals and customer advocacy for Autodesk.
You must be truly passionate about driving transformational customer outcomes, building a high-performing services organization and developing a highly productive delivery partner network. The successful candidate is a natural leader who loves service delivery, has a talent for nurturing customer relationships, and is comfortable engaging across all levels of the customer organization. You bring a proven track record of exceptional skills and competencies in packaged services delivery, collaboration (internally and externally), decision making, and the ability to sell and deliver services with measurable results/outcomes.
Responsibilities
• Build a strong services delivery team and brand through incorporation of best practices, skills development and provision of consistent, high quality and scalable solutions across our 4 geos (AMER, EMEA, APAC and Japan)
• Provide strategic leadership for the services delivery organization in collaboration with our Global Named Accounts leadership team
• Develop and drive strategic and operational plans for services through effective planning, communication and team leadership
• Earn trusted advisory relationships with customers to ensure high levels of customer success with the delivery of packaged services offerings post-sale
• Provide day-to-day leadership and management of Services staff; assigning projects and providing a process for managing client escalations
• Partner with global sales leadership to ensure successful sale and delivery of services as part of Enterprise Business Agreements in addition to providing high level consultation in support of sales opportunities where appropriate
• Manage relationships with delivery partners to ensure high quality of professional services delivery Skills Motivation / Culture Fit

Minimum Qualifications
• 12-15+ years of experience and demonstrated success in building and running a services function/practice in the software industry
• A savvy leader with proven sales and business development experience who has managed teams generating in excess of $100M in annual services billings globally
• Prior experience with a Big 5 consulting firm, leading systems integrator, or the professional services practice of a leading software firm is of primary interest
• Experience developing close working relationships with major account sales teams and other functional groups
• Demonstrated success as a customer facing executive
• A pragmatic approach coupled with the ability to thrive under the pressure of constant change and moving objectives as the organization grows and scales for operational excellence
• Build a world class organization through attracting, hiring and retaining top talent
• Will be culturally sensitive and a culture builder able to perpetuate an under promise/over deliver culture within the team that ensures accountability
• Strong technical background and process capability
• Strong understanding selling and marketing of services
• A proven track record of delivering services to complex enterprises ranging from mid-size companies to Fortune 1000 clients
• Demonstrated success in driving a very high level of customer success with impeccable attention to detail and support metrics
• Succession planning mindset: track record of enabling and developing the skills and careers of direct reports
• BA and/or MS in a technical or business discipline is mandatory, formal Project Management training is preferred
• Proven customer engagement skills and track record of delivering, deploying and implementing large enterprise SaaS or cloud-based solutions
• Strong financial modeling skills, including an understanding of integrated financial modeling (e.g. tying sales forecasts together with income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement)
• Ability to influence internal stakeholders and partners to rally behind the vision of and goals of Autodesk Global Customer Success Organization is essential
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• 40-50% global travel required
Preferred Qualifications
• Services delivery experience within the Architecture/Engineering and Product Design/Manufacturing Industries with Autodesk or competitive products
• Based in a large metro that makes it easy for travel
• Experience across multiple global geographies highly advantageous
