GSN Games is looking for a Finance Business Manager to join our team in Boston or San Francisco!
About the Finance Team:

What You'll Do:
Reporting to the Senior Director of FP&A, the Finance Business Manager will interact daily as a business partner to the General Manager of one of our games studios. Duties include:
• Lead the recurring forecasting process for the games studio(s) you support. This includes potentially building new forecast models or improving upon existing ones
• Lead accurate, timely and insightful monthly and quarterly financial and metrics reporting to business leaders and senior management
• Forge meaningful relationships with studio general manager(s) and become a trusted advisor, highlighting risks, building simulations and sensitivity analyses and suggesting solutions to problems as they arise
• Support the Director FP&A in leading the annual budget and 3-year strategic plan
• Run simulations on various "what-if" scenarios using insight and critical thinking to evaluate and make recommendations about critical business decisions
• Develop integrated revenue and expense analyses and projections to drive profitability analysis and control of costs
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis for departmental leads, providing insight into capital or other strategic spend and operational optimization. Articulate findings on a regular basis to senior management
• Identify trends and developments from internal/external data including competitors and present findings
• This position may require occasional travel to our offices in San Francisco, Boston, and Bangalore (India), plus other smaller international locations as needed
About You:
• Results-driven, possess a strong drive to meet and exceed goals and are willing to take ownership of problems and make sound decisions
• 7+ years of progressive finance experience
• University Degree plus MBA and/or Chartered Accountant certification preferred
• Experience in mobile games (or similar) industry is desirable; experience in licensing of intellectual property also valuable
• Excellent customer focus and ability to partner with internal customers; the role will have high visibility to senior management and significant interaction with cross-functional and operating leaders
• Genuine interest in helping a business achieve ever greater growth and profitability and maximize new business opportunities and market trends
• Superior analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated success working in a deadline driven and multi-task environment; ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial statement analysis, income statement, balance sheet and cash flow
• Desire to consistently exceed expectations and take on more responsibility
• Advanced Excel modeling experience and proficiency
• Strong interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) and influencing skills to manage business partners as well develop relationships to enhance the role's effectiveness.
