Editorial Project Coordinator, Hearst Lifestyle Group
The Editorial Projects Coordinator works directly with the Strategic Projects Director of the Hearst Lifestyle Group (Good Housekeeping, Redbook, Woman’s Day, Prevention) on editorial partnerships and events. The successful candidate will be highly organized, friendly and outgoing, a creative thinker, and be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
This role organizes, manages, and performs support for large and small scale events, editorial partnership programs, and administrative duties.
Additionally, this role also works on social media campaigns for the brands.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
• Work on events promoting the Good Housekeeping Institute and editorial features.
• Serve as a liaison with external industry partners, vendors, customers, and staff members
• Manage social media content
• Assist in editorial partnerships programming in the entertainment and lifestyle space
• Make and coordinate travel for project teams and leaders
• Provide general administrative duties
• Coordinate itineraries for festivals and conferences.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a professional business demeanor and outgoing personality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Effective problem-solving skills, committed to results
• Ability to work with minimal or no supervision
• Strong MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word skills (required)
• Social media campaign experience
